The Vision of Young Arts is to provide equality of opportunity for all to learn through participation in the arts.

Guildford Wey Valley Young Arts representatives thank members for their support of this worthwhile project.

On the 13th March 2024, Under the auspices of Young Arts we organised   a group of 16 x 9/10 year old to go to the Appart exhibition at Prior’s Field School. The children, from Busbridge Junior School, were provided with  transport by one of the PF minibuses, and PF  provided clipboards and a little questionnaire to help the children explore, plus drinks and biscuits were on offer after their exertions!

 It was a wonderful sculpture exhibition in the beautiful PF gardens and we are very grateful to PF for their generous support to our Young Arts programme.

(Next year we could get more schools on board for this ….wanted to try it out first with this group)   

Happy to say the children seemed to thoroughly enjoy their outing!
